United Solar Initiative (USI) is a 501c3 non-profit organization, based in Chapel Hill, NC, working to facilitate solar energy solutions to address energy and water poverty in underdeveloped communities around the world.

Harnessing clean energy to enhance critical world disparities.

USI delivers lasting, industry empowering solar solutions to under-served communities across the globe, addressing global disparities through the empowerment of schools, clinics, and community centers with solar energy.

We work with international and local partners to to facilitate solar installations in areas of global disparities, like schools, community centers, and clinics.
